A passport is an official document issued by the government of a country to its citizens as proof of identity and citizenship. KITAS is a limited stay permit card issued by the immigration authorities of certain countries to foreign citizens who wish to live or work in that country. KITAS provides permission and a specified stay time limit.

Family Unification KITAS is a type of KITAS given to family members of KITAS or KITAP (Permanent Stay Permit Card) holders. This KITAS allows family members, such as spouses or children, to live with and join KITAS holders in certain countries.

Investor KITAS is a type of KITAS given to individuals who want to live and invest in certain countries. This KITAS is usually given to those who invest in certain business projects and make a significant contribution to the country’s economy.

KITAP is a permanent residence permit card issued by the immigration authorities of certain countries to foreign citizens who meet the requirements to live permanently in that country. KITAP provides a more stable and long-term residence permit compared to KITAS.

A visa is a document issued by the immigration authority of a destination country that gives its holder permission to enter that country for a specific purpose, such as tourism, study, work, or business. Visas are usually found in the form of a stamp or label placed in the passport. Visa processing involves submitting an application, paying fees, and meeting the requirements set by the country being visited.

SKTT is a residence certificate issued by the local government as proof of a person’s residence in a certain area. SKTT is usually required for several administrative activities such as making a driver’s license, making an identity card, and other purposes that require proof of residential address.

A Reporting Certificate (STM) is a letter issued by the police which functions as proof of registration and reporting of the whereabouts of foreign nationals living or working in Indonesia. STM is given to those who are required to report themselves to the local police in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.

An International Driver’s License is a driving permit issued by the authorities in certain countries which allows the holder to drive in countries that are members of certain international agreements. International driving licenses are usually issued in card form and must be used in conjunction with an original national driving license.
